Hello leslew5,

What do you want and when do you want it by? Lots of people set mini goals based on events in there life. Like I would like to loose x amount by my birthday ect.

Also mini goals can be done by inches and not pounds.

Good luck
Sarah

I think you decide what's a good interval goal for you, say for example you want to be a certain weight by April 1 or whatever. If you check out my signature line you'll see what my current one is, which is not date oriented but weight oriented. One I have not posted, is to be 160 by March 20 - which is a wedding I am attending and half way to my ultimate goal of 150 by Memorial Day weekend. The key is - and I think this is very important! - not to beat yourself up if you don't make the goal by a certain time frame, we will all get there following plan and if you come close to yoru mini goal then good for you!

well what I did was I figured I would like to lose 100lbs in 12 months, so I figure 25 lbs every three months... but you really need to figure out what works for you

I set my mini-goals in sets of 10 lbs. incriments. Then, I compare the dates and see if I am still loosing about 10 lbs. a month.
