Default Need breakfast ideas - induction - help!

I had eggs with cheese and two slices of ham this morning (day one). I don't love eggs, and in fact they sort of make me feel yucky. What else can I have for breakfasts during this restricted 14 day induction phase? Can I have oatmeal yet? I also wonder if I could have a latte using half & half instead of regular milk. That tends to fill me. Any ideas??

Hi. We have a whole forum for Breakfast Ideas. I think there's a sticky there for induction-friendly ideas. There's no reason to have eggs if you don't like them - anything on the acceptable foods list is fair game, even if it isn't traditionally a breakfast food.

Hi I wasn't a big egg person either especially in the morning. I am more of a 2am egg person...LOL. The way I got around it was I made egg salad and put bacon and whatever I wanted in that. Kristine is right there are alot of good ideas in the recipe section here. She left you a good link. I use to always go by this lst it just made it easier for me than the book.

Hope it helps and good luck!

Oatmeal is not on the list of induction and it's pretty carby. I sometimes enjoy a fried turkey pattie, slice of avocado, dallop of sour cream, slices of cucumber. I ate this mostly during induction.

I had fried egg atop sausage with cheese melted on top. It tastes like an egg mcmuffin w/out the muffin
I also sometimes just have bacon. You might have to make sure first, Im not positive you can have sausage during induction. If not do bacon on top. Good Luck

Eggs can just like there or they can be kicked up a notch. My whole family loves Georges Breakfast casserole that is in the breakfast recipe section here. Try it --You will like it I am quite sure. Alice

I am on day three of induction, and what I have been eating for breakfast is 2 or 3 slices of Hormel bacon, and two or three scrambled eggs with 2 TBLS cheddar cheese on top, I also put onion powder on it too to spice it up, and I am fully satisfied, and I am dropping pounds like crazy, WOO-HOO!! Good luck
