Most alcohols do have carbs. A small glass of brut champagne shouldn't kill you though. Stay away from champagne punch though that has been mixed with fruit juice or other carby additives.
A few tips to remember while LC
1. Alcohol may effect you a ton more then it has in the past. Drink it slow and watch fo ryour new limit.
2. Drink tons of water as the morning after can be much worse as well
3. Alcohol is turned into keotenes, so you will still show as being in ketosis even if fat is not being burned.
4. The body will use those alcohol keotenes before any other source of energy, so anything eaten at the time will be stored for later use. Don't go drinking on an empty stomach though as that would be a recipe for getting sick. Just have your regular dinner would be my advice.
5. Self control is lowered while drinking. Be sure yu don't get tempted by carby goodies or hors ders while drinking.
