Default 203 by 2005 resolution

My new years resolution is very simple. I want to lose 100+ lbs in the next year. I have been successful in losing 25ish in the last 2 months so I expect this to be a obtainable goal (Note: Not easy, obtainable). So in the spirit of rewarding myself for the effort I have set up two mini-goals with rewards.

1. The first 50# gone and I get to pop the top of this 3 liter bottle of beer with my 3 best friends:

Yes I realize that this might not be the best reward I could come up with. But I am a total beer snob and if I can't indulge in the things I enjoy once in a while, what's the point?

2. The last 50# gone and I buy a whole new wardrobe. I will gladly give the 4x shirts and size 42 jeans to the Salvation Army and replace it all via the AmEx... 8)

You will do great =) You have the right idea, this is a way of life not a diet, so you have to learn to be able to enjoy your faves once in a while.
Best of luck!

I agree with Yukon - In order to maintain this WOL we have to be able to indulge in our 'favs' sometimes
