I am also on to strict induction until further notice. I didn't cheat that much but I find I am starving all the time now. Hate that feeling. I know it will go away probably tomorrow but for right now I am feeding it veggis, eggs and meat plus water and more water.

I have been out of the lifestyle and miserable since mid April. I am starting in the morning on induction. I not only gained the 20 lbs that I had lost, I added an extra one. I would love to join the cheat free challenge!

I intend to go back on induction to see if I can break a stall. I am not going on until Jan1 though. I intend to drink champagne at New Years.

Default New here, so just starting out...

I'm happy I found this board and all of this support. I have had the Atkins Revolution book for several years and am just re-reading it now. I went shopping (after reading the "what's in your fridge" thread). I even tried the cabbage sauteed in butter with sour cream tonight. It was great! I have one week of vacation to have the headache and withdrawals in, so can't wait to get going. I'd love to hear what people eat in a day on induction if anyone wants to give it a shot!
Thanks!

I suggest starting a fitday account, that way you will see what you are eating, also at the bottom of some people's sig lines you will see their fitday pages. I took mine off, had to announce and remind myself everytime I see my sig to keep grounded for the 2 challenges I'm dedicated to seeing through!

Default Starting: but not induction

Its been about six months since I have activily counted carbs I run about 35 carbs a day my DH and I walk 5 ks everyday and I have stayed at my previous goal of 150 until about the first of Dec. I am now up 6 lbs and need to get back on track. I have made a new goal of 145 and with increased exercise I hope to see it by next may. The last pounds are always hardest to come off. Though I don't feel going back to induction is necessary. I'll reduce my carbs by 5 putting me at about 30 and then stay there until I get back to a gradual loss of inches and pounds and then start increasing. If I hit 40 carbs p/day I stop lossing. I Love the Atkins way of life though everyroad is bumpy I think I just hit my first rut.

Thumbs up count me in

I'm waiting for the New Year though That way I will be starting the new year off right. I just don't plan on overdoing it though. I'm still drinking my water and backing off the potatoes and bread. Just not being as strict as the induction phase. Hopefully my stall for the past couple of months will get me moving again.

I stuck pretty close to the plan until Christmas dinner. I ate potatoes, pasta salad, potatoe salad, etc. Gained 5 lbs. over the entire week. Now, I'm back on track with the exception of drinking New Years Eve. I'll be starting STRICT Induction on January 1.

I cheated like no one's business the week. Went home to Mom's who loves to back and well you know. I feel so awful though. No energy and just feel so damn frumpy. UGH. I'm starting induction again on New Year's. I figure why start now when the big party is coming

i went off plan christmas eve evening and all day and night on christmas. and i got two lbs to show for it! i've been back on induction since 12/26. had a slight slip on 12/27 (stupid travel during dinner time! i caved to the peanuts in hungry desperation!), and accidentally went over my 20 carbs yesterday due to not recording everything i ate.

but, i'm feeling good and am happy to be back on the wagon.
