Default What can be found at a Wal Mart Supercenter?

Hi everyone. I have seen many posts for items that people found at their local Wal Mart Supercenter here but they are all over the place. I am wondering if we can start a thread here exclusively for low carb products that were found at the supercenters? I will have to drive a little over an hour to get to one, and would like to buy everything all at once. It will be great to know what to look for. Please join in, and list what you have found! Thanks so much!

Dena241, at this time the Supercenters vary greatly on what they carry. Just because one has lc milk and frozen meal bowls doesn't mean your Walmart Supercenter does. Maybe after someone gives you a list (mine in MO has nothing yet) you can call your Walmart and ask about the specific items you are interested in. Good luck

yeah the only problem is that all of the products are in different places in the store.

lc milk is in the milk section- duhh!
bake mixes and lc chips are in the pharmacy area with the shakes and supplements

so just remember to look all over. i have been to a few different walmarts in the greater houston area and they all seem to have all of the lc stuff just spread out.

That does seem to be an issue. I just happened to walk down the end aisle near the meats at Giant Eagle a couple of days ago and was shocked to see a four way shelf stocked with many different low carb products-Ketogenics, Mini-card, and a few other brand names. I never would have looked for muffin mixes in that spot! Kroger and Meijer seem to be the most organized as far as having most of their low carb products in one section. I am sure my long trip to the WalMart supercenter will be an adventure! Thanks for your suggestions!

My SuperWalmart has the products kind of spread out too, but I would say check near the pharmacy for shakes/bars, and the other major spot at my store is the aisle with all the chips and pretzels - they have a LC section at the end of the aisle that has bake mixes, LC candy, pasta etc.

I am looking forward to the local Giant Eagle carrying some lc products. So far, I can only find some bread there. Their prices for even heavy cream are out of my price range. They do have the Bryers carb sense Ice cream. But once again, that is just crazy, something like 6 bucks for a half gallon.

I guess, I'll have to wait until it drops again. Ths super Walmart has better prices and better stuff. I get most of the bake mixes and stuff there. They do sell a pizza crust mix that is pretty good.

Good luck with your search, keep us posted.

Honey!
"Honeytree's" Brand name
Sugar Free imitation honey.

Very tasty. no carb--17 grams of sugar alcohol, so I do find even small amounts have "that" effect.

I just wanted to add that they now carry Carbolite granola bars. These taste exactally like a nutrigrain bar. They have strawberry, cinnamon, and blueberry. About $4 for 5 bars, not bad! I give them 5 stars *****

I once found DaVinci Sugar Free Syrups made with Splenda at Super Walmart (Apopka, FL). It was on the bottom shelf behind a pole. Goes to show, you really have to look!

I like the fact that I can find 5 packs of the large Atkins bars at Walmart and Super Walmart from time to time. They are usually priced about $8.00 and some change. Makes them way under $2.00 a bar which is great!

This thread has made me want to go to Super Walmart today!

our one just put up a display in the middle
of an aisle with all their low carb products the
other day, but some of them were missing , such
as the granola. They also had the shakes for
about 6.50 a 4 pk.!

its getting better all the time.
