Neat! I'm right on the line between "overweight" and "healthy weight" now!

Something seems kind of off about this... it doesn't address frame size...

BMI doesn't address frame size, or lean weight percentage. Someone could be ah ealthy weight with a very low percentage of body fat, but be listed as obese by a BMI chart. Body builders are way off the charts on those things, and even non builders who happen to have a large amount of lean weight, look obese on those.

According to that site 135 would be the upper end of a healthy weight for me. At 135 my body fat is actually in the middle range of healthy. Sometimes people going by those carts try to push thier weight lower then healthy and start sacrificing lean mass to hit those numbers.

This was interesting! I was "severely obese" before and am now at a "healthy weight." My DH was "morbidly obese" and is still in the "obese" catagory but he is not at goal yet either. We were both "probably candidates for bariatric surgery" before losing. That is scary!

I remember going to that site before starting Atkins and staring at it crying my eyes out as I was OBESE and not only a candidate for the surgery but I was actually planning on doing it. NOW..I am not even a candidate woo hooo! I am still far far from my goal of a healthy weight....but at least I know I can do it.
