Default Anybody have food dreams?

I keep dreaming about food! Either I'm eating and I know something is 'wrong' or I'm looking at food, putting it on my plate and noticing every no-no for LCing. Last night I was dreaming I was at a dinner party and I was hesitant at first, not wanting to eat high carb stuff, then decided to load my plate and had a struggle do I or don't I???

I've also dreamt that I've accidentally eaten carbs--I take a big bite of something then realize it's bread or a tortilla, and I'm trying to spit it out, scraping my tongue, panic-city!!

It's kind of funny, but wondering if anybody else is having Food Dreams??

I had food dreams a couple of times. One time I was at a restaraunt and was sitting there looking through the menu trying to decide what was low carb and what wasn't. The other time I was in a vault (like a scrooge mcduck money size vault) full of rice krispie treats. I ate to my hearts desire. What was weird was I felt really guilty the next morning. I got a good laugh about it after I realized I was just dreaming.

Nikkil: I think they are very common, especially early on in almost any kind of diet. Haven't had one in months, though, as this WOE becomes more ingrained, and normal for me.

It's wonderful to wake up from a dream of scraping something off your tongue, and realize you have not blown it!

I only had them in the begining too.

The one I remember most was going to SO's parents and they had a huge sundea bar. I rememberd after making myself a huge one I couldn't eat it. I made my SO have it I think it's part of the WOE becoming a way of life. You have it on your mind os much you even dream about it. After a bit it becomes so much a habit, that even though you think about it alot your sleeping mind has better things to do.

I have one whenever I take melatonin before bed. The melatonin helps me get a good night's sleep and I wake up "full". I don't know if I remember the dreams better or if they are more vivid. Either way it's guiltless fun.

I had another last week. I was on a huge slide like an amusement park and on the way down the slide on the sides were donuts and ice cream (which I don't care for lol) and you grabed as much as you could on your way down. Of course I took the donuts lol.

Talk about messed up ?? I told my hubby and he just shook his head lololol.

I've had dreams about eating bread and it being wonderful, which is odd since I've always been rather indifferent to bread. Those dreams usually happen the week after a cheat when my carb cravings are out of control. I think its the evil sugar fairy that gives them to me.
