Default Scored some LC treats at GNC

HI! I was ecstatic to find a bunch of Atkins and Carbolite products at a GNC in Saskatoon, SK (Canada, eh!) this afternoon. I splurged and bought 2 Carborite Chocolate Chip Cookies and a pkg of milk chocolate almonds. I nibbled on a cookie and I have to say, not too bad! The almonds were pretty good too. I also picked up an Atkins Brownie Mix which I'll be trying while the kids are gone. It says 9 grams per serving which is still waaaaay better than a high carb alternative. It's funny how I find a LC product soon after I have a HC craving! My guardian angel must be on Atkins! I'll post a response later as to how the brownies were (decent I hope - crosses fingers!)

I just made a batch of the Atkins brownies for our faculty luncheon. They must not have been too bad, because they got scarfed up by low carbers and low fatters alike! I even put a sign on them that stated they contained sugar alcohols (beware!) and splenda.

I did manage to eat one - it wasn't bad, but not that good that I'll be making them other than for something like the luncheon.
