Default Good for you!

Steff

I'm sure no one thinks you are crazy! I know that I have often felt the way you feel, like "anyone in their right mind would never see THIS as a milestone" (substitute any number of things for THIS)...but way to go. The most important thing is that you see it as something to be proud of, and you are right it is.

Amazing what a few words can do to a person. I remember seeing a doctor when I was first pregnant and reading as he wrote on my chart, "++obese". That was a lovely feeling, especially on my first visit of my pregnancy, when I knew darn well the "++" was likely to turn into a few more +'s by the end of 9 months!

I will leap with joy the day I am only, "moderately obese" and I celebrate with you today! Congratuations, here's to just being plain old "obese" someday....

Mari
