Smile Hello All, new here with a couple of questions. (PROBABLY TMI!!)

Hi. I am a 28 year old Stay at home mommy, and have been on the Atkins plan for 9 days. I LOVE this diet, and have done it a few years ago, but quit and gained it all back. This time I am more serious and am determined to make this a WOL. I love this board and expecially love looking at everyones before and afters. that is so encouraging. The only problem I am having is frequent dirrehea. (sorry if TMI) and also for the past two days I am having tingling in my hands and feet? weird? any thoughts? Thanks in Advance! Heather

Uggh! I can totally sympathize with you on the diarrehea issue! I just started Induction yesterday and have spent 1/3 of my day in the bathroom. I sure will be glad when this stage passes!

There is a thread in either the tips or best of you should go over. It discusses both constipation and diareah.

I just posted on the runs issue. I have been told it will pass (no pun intended). As for the tingling thing, could it be non-diet related? Have you been sleeping differently? Doing repetitive hand motions?

Is the tingling like a coldness or a cramping? You might need to get potassium/magnesium supplements.

I guess it is diet related because I have never experienced the tingling before, my hands and feet dont feel cold just tingly. I havnt been sleeping differently. I have no idea!!

I had the opposite happen to me on my first week of induction. Luckily I feel back to normal.
