Default Cream, heavy, whipped, unsweetened ?

Does anyone know if on FitDay.Com.....When you look at one cup severing of Cream, heavy, whipped, unsweetened, at 3.32g of carbs, does this mean one cup before whipped or after whipped?.....Also, would this be the same as whipping up one cup of 35% cream?....Thank you....Julie

They are talking about cream after it has been whipped. If you want the count for liquid cream before it is whipped look for "cream, heavy, fluid."

From the low carb count I would assume it's already whipped, because whipped cream takes up about twice the space of unwhipped cream (I think). But it does say "whipped" in the description...unless that's supposed to be "whipping."

Anyone happen to know the carb count on unwhipped heavy cream? I've always counted about 1 carb per two tablespoons.

I agree Hilary - that carb count seemed low to me also! But after double checking Fitday, 1 oz. of "cream, heavy, fluid" has one carb. There are 3 Tbsp in one oz. so .3333 carbs in each Tbsp.

Sorry to say this, but there are only 2 tablespoons in an ounce, not three.

Thank you Shortstuff! You are correct about 2 tbsp in one ounce. Sorry Julie 10.

"Cream, heavy, whipped, unsweetened" -- Heavy Cream [35% Milkfat] whipped without adding sugar.

"Cream, light, whipped, unsweetened" -- Light/Whipping Cream [30% Milkfat] whipped without added sugar.

"Cream, heavy, whipped, sweetened" -- Heavy Cream [35% Milkfat] whipped with adding sugar.

"Cream, whipped, pressurized container" -- Light/Whipping Cream [30% Milkfat] whipped with added sugar. The kind you get out of a can. If the can is marked "Whipped Heavy Cream," it is "Cream, heavy, whipped, sweetened."

"Whipped cream substitute, non-dairy, made from powdered mix" -- Nondairy Whipped Cream...Usually made with Trans-Fat, Corn Syrup, and other crap. Basically Non-Dairy Coffee Creamer whipped with added sugar.
