But .. but .. Low-carbers eat LOTS of fruit. Cucumbers, bell peppers, olives, avocadoes, eggplant, zucchinis, tomatoes, squash ... these are all fruits (contain the seeds).
There is no essential nutrient in fruit that isn't also found abundantly in vegetables. Except sugar, and it's not essential
