Default wonder how much fiber 2 psyllium caps add?

I'm taking 2 every day, and was wondering if anyone knows the fiber content? Can I subtract from my carbs? Not that I need to worry, I have been hitting 16-18/day, and have a hard time getting to 20!

I don't think you can subtract the fibre in one food from the carbs in another (if I've understood the question properly).

Psyllium is all fibre and nothing else, so I don't believe it really matters how much you are taking.

Try adding some more salad vegetables when you are past the 2 weeks.

Be sure to count the carbs in mayo, eggs, salad dressings, cream and cheese.

I don't think you can subtract the fiber capsules from your daily diet. In fact, Weight Watchers had a problem a few years ago where certain foods were negative points, according to their scale which somehow calculates points using calories, fat grams, and fiber, I believe. So, people would use these foods in excess to bring their points "down." I wish I could remember the foods, but eventually WW said that no foods could be negative points and at the very minimum they could be 0 points. They had to redo a lot of their literature, too.

Anyway, I don't think it would be to your benefit if you used the fiber capsules to reduce your carb intake.

Barb when I do my fit-day I list all ingrediants that I use for that meal. It gets to be a pain, so I'm not doing that elaborate of meals. Like tonight I made mashed (potatos) califlower and had to add to fit day 1T butter, 1T sour cream all those little 1T of stuff takes a long time to put in.
