Thumbs up I came, I ate, I cheated

Thanksgiving..... Oh my!

Had a great Thanksgiving at the Parental Unit's house and I was guilted into cheating. No biggie.

Carbs shot up to about 72, I have been keeping them around 20 for the last 3 weeks, then I burned about 2500 calories painting my office and ripping down an ass ugly border the former occupant put up.

So, what does this mean? It means I cheated, worked my butt off the rest of the day and did not gain an ounce.

Of course drinking water all day and sweating helped a great deal.

Anyone else end up doing something like this?

Max

PS: If so, why the hell didn't ya come help me paint the office?

Hi!! Serrecko!!

I ate too much and the dinner was at my house. My daughter had to bring this sugar infested Chocolate Cheese Cake. I had some and I ate too much other stuff. Also the crackers got to me. I love Crackers.
Anyway afterwards I went and helped my daughter move some heavy furniture so I did get some exercise too.

Well, I was gonna paint that, but ya see, well... it's like this, I wanted to paint it polka dotted and you balked.

So, as you see, I did try.

I also cheated. Whip me , beat me. Then on friday I did my early shopping so that was my exercise. I'll probably pay for it later on but. Time to get back on the horse.

I know the cheat I had was really not worth it. The food tasted a bit strange and my gut felt horrible about 3 minutes after I put down the fork.

I really don't think my cheat hurt me a bit. Still where I was, still feel great and I have tons of energy.

So don't worry about a small cheat I would say. Heck I still eat 1/25th the amount of carbs I used to... and well.... yippiee

Other than 2 peices, I ate the entire Cheese cake. No gain yet but the sugar craving are terrible...

I have been LCing but not like I should. Monday I plan to get back on my 20 carbs a day...

I really AM kicking myself.. I've been on a two-week carb bender of sorts and am re-starting Atkins Monday morning. I am NOT looking forward to withdrawals again..<sigh>

I was out of town for 8 days, and to make up for my ever-so-slight holiday indulgences, like half a serving of Bananas Foster, I went to the hotel gym not once, not twice, but three times. I am such a good girl.

The hotel gym did not have any paint brushes.

I got on the scale this morning and one more pound is gone. So my cheating didn't affect my weight loss. I am so surpeised.

Atleast your cheat lasted only one day. Mines been a week long off and on.

And I haven't exercised once.

Trust me you wouldn't have wanted me to help you paint. I would have had more paint on me then on the walls

I am starting back at 20 carbs tomorrow.. plenty of water. .dreading the cravings and energy drop, but thank god for all of you. I love having someone I can turn to when i screw up. Yep, I'm a cheater too. Four days of non-stop indulgence. But I didn't gain anything! Kinda wish I would have gained a couple of pounds because now I have this little voice in my head saying...."you can cheat and not gain any weight!" And we all know what happens when you start thinking like that! But it's back on the wagon today for me!

I didn't do to bad. I gained a pound and a half
But i think it was from over eating. The only two cheats I had was a bite of mashed potatoes, they used to be my favorite, but they tasted like starchy dirt....everyone else said they were wonderful, I thought they were horrible. I guess I dont like potatoes anymore... good learning experience for me.
I also tasted pumpkin pie. I was so full I only had a bite....it was still good, so I am glad I was horribly full.... when I did get over the full, I had a peice of l/c cheesecake so that was good....I made the stuffing with arnolds l/c bread, so that was better than full blown carb bread stuffing!!! and no rolls!!
I just ate way too much.... I think the gain is from that and the fact that we went out Saturday night...... I drank the low carb beer, but ya know, once you pass a six pack is it still low carb????
