Default ketosis breath help

I have ignored my boyfriend's complaints for 3 weeks now but I've suddenly realised that he's not the only one I am around during the day.

How do I get rid of ketosis breath?

I am drinking at least 3 litres (100 oz) of water a day already and can't imagine drinking much more.

I have read that chewing parsley can help.

I chew sf gum, if I am in a meeting, I dont chew but keep it tucked under my tongue or in my cheek, I wouldnt want to expose any one to my keto breath...hehehe I have heard that it goes away, or gets better/????? I have not experienced that yet.

Brush your teeth after meals and use breath strips - works for me.

But the problem is that it is not my mouth that stinks but the breath coming from my lungs.
Chewing gum and brushing teeth only help make your mouth smell better - trust me I am chewing!

It does help (the chewing) I know what you are talking about (bad lung breath..hehehe) There is a breath mint drop out on the market that is supposed to "freshen breath from the inside out" I will look next time I go to the store and see what it is and what is in it. Don't know if it will work, but will check on it for you.

Sorry for the disappointment, but I haven't found anything that really helps. I brush my teeth 3 times a day, and drink LOTS of water, but my husband still comments about it all the time. Unfortunately, I think it is just the one negative aspect of this WOE.

I haven't found anything to eliminate bad breath. Floss, chew your gum, suck on mints, take a breath strip... and don't get too close to anyone!!! ::giggling::
SERIOUSLY!

Yeah, with my husband and I both in ketosis and experiencing this terrible breath, we sure aren't kissing as much as we used to! I use the Listerine Pocket Packs (so strong they clear up your sinuses too — a plus in winter) and use Blitz sugar-free mints. Like someone mentioned above, Blitz products are made with Splenda. I found them in the checkout line at the supermarket.

Thanks guys.

I'm just glad to know it's not just me!

I am using the pills that you swallow to make you smell nice from the inside but they're very expensive and I can't afford to buy them all the time.

I was just worried becasue I have an interview today but luckily it is going to be via video conference so I can stink as much as I want to.

I'm home for Thanksgiving, and my mom shocked me by telling me to brush my teeth or something, my breath stinks! Sheesh! And I'm having the anticipated nothing-to-eat blues, parents can't understand a world without bread and pasta....I had cashews for breakfast and lunch today
