Be careful with SF candies/chocolates...not only the gastric distress (as you have experienced) but they can stall you out big time. Thus I only have a piece every so often.

Just to note .. if these were the Russell Stover candies .. *sigh* I love these .. and found that I can tolerate one without the "rush down the hall" effect. Then I read the label more closely, and noticed they're made with hydrogenated fat So, they're a rare indulgence only.

Eating alot of tasty food is not good for your diet. This diet works the best when all you eat are meats, cheeses and vegetables.

I have not been losing weight for about two months. This is probably beacause I keep eating low carb pasta, breads and ice cream. All these products are now available at supermarkets in my area.

Ice creams are my weakest point. The new Klondike low carb ice cream bars and also the new Atkins ice cream, especially the butter pecan type are very appetizing.

Although I manage to keep myself in light ketosis all the time, I eat more because I like the food I eat. This is not good for the diet.

I have probably lost the weight I lost because these products have not been available. I'll be on this diet for life, so sometime in the future will try to lose more!

Yep. Been there. Done that.

But they ARE good, aren't they? I've found that if I stop at one, I'm okay. So once a month, during TOM, I allow myself to have just one. Takes lots of self control though.

I have to watch the sf reese's.... those things send me running.... If I stick with half a serving size, I am fine, but I save that for emergency. I don't want to get used to indulging in junk food (even if it is legal) because of a mood or a bad day, that is part of what got me into trouble with weight and health in the first place.

Dee, I'm sure that this is WAY more information than you need -- but the first time I tried those candies I ate 3 pieces then went grocery shopping. Well, I'm VERY lucky that the store had a bathroom AND that the bathroom wasn't occupied as I rushed in there. A very, VERY scary experience that I never care to repeat again.

Hi Dee....How many did you have?....I try to stick with only two and I still have problems.....I guess I would have to camp in the bathroom if I had more than that......Julie
