Wink New with a question

Would like to say hi to all as a brand new member. I find this thread business and the website a little difficult to adjust to but i guess all in good time, yes?
Well very excited about this site as it helps me through the day and other members post some good advice and refferals to other things such as Fitday.com and recipes.
I have a weird question and I guess the answer is yes but just checking. I'm doing atkins as close as I remember it until I go to purchase the new book, but I ate buffalo the other day and was concerned about the amount of carbs in it. Is it ok?
Hugs

Default Welcome, Taina

Congrats on your new WOL. You'll find all kinds of support and information on this site. Buffalo meat has no carbs. Anything you need to check before you get a carb counter book you can look up on this site. Under "Low Carb Tools" there's a great counter; it even lists the foods by lowest carbs.

Best of luck,
Nat

Default Hey Taina

Hello there,
I am new at this also. I weigh 290 so we are about in the same boat, give or take a twinkie. I am currently on the zone diet as it seems to work best for me. I have tried atkins before but got to craving carbs so bad I could not stand it. Debbie
