Default "There's a rumbly in my tumbly" sings Winnie the Pooh, after eating sugar alcohols.

Watch out! I found some wonderful Hershey's SF miniature chocolate bars at Target the other day. They were delicious. The first few didn't seem to bother me, so then I splurged---add in TOM, and my birthday excuse to celebrate, and I really got out of control; ate like half a bag. Then I learned my lesson, at a bad time--picking up kids, dropping off kids, trying to clean the house for company, make dinner, have company over, etc. All in pain!

It's probably good it happened---now I have NO desire for any more. And I also realized that any kind of chocolate, even SF, causes compulsive cravings for me.
Couldn't quite let everyone else's warnings be enough to stop me!!!

I think the warnings serve as confirmation, so you know what is happening after you consume sugar alcohols, but the warnings don't really sink in until it happens to you experience it firsthand. The next time your TOM comes around, try making the PB Cups (recipe on this site) - they are really good. Good luck on your LC journey!!!

Ditto. Luckily, it didn't take half a bag. I only ate 3 and MAN, I had bloat and gas pains from hell. At work. Not pleasant for me OR for my co-workers.

Yeah, I guess we all have to experience it for ourselves. Now I take care of my TOM cravings with food choices that are much kinder to my system.

I can have ONE of these SF chocolates, no problem. If I have TWO, I get some tummy rumbles.
And I dare not have THREE!

Same here. BUT I just can't seem to control myself. I know the consquences, however I just can't seem to put them down. I ate some lc ice cream the other day. Man it was good. Had no problems that night, the next morning. Boy did I pay.

I'm the same way... One and I'm fine, Two and I'm looking for the closest bathroom.. I guess it is a good way to limit my intake of Sugar Alcohols..
