digital scales are your friends.

the old dial ones just aren't accurate in my opinion - I had the same problem, each time I stepped on it there was a different weight. My digital one gives me the same answer no matter how many times I get on/off it in the same 5 minute period.

You know, I used to think mine was accurate too. Until I had to weight my dog. She has a weight problem, too. It's all the garbage she eats(she literally eats garbage). But anyway, I weighed myself, then picked her up and weighed her. I then got back on without her just to be sure and I was about a pound less. I don' t think I lost a pound in 10 seconds. So now I pick up a pair of Doc boots or something, weigh, and then weigh without them. Its ridiculous. Oh and I always weigh about two pounds more in the evenings.
