Default I'm looking for some information about the whipped cream dispensers

Can someone tell me what size I should buy?

I'm thinking that I should go for the second one on this list, the thirty dollar job.

The money doesn't really matter to me. I'm willing to pay more to get the right thing.

LINK - whipped cream dispensers selection

Thanks,

TC

I have one that takes a pint of whipped cream- and one charger. It holds that charge for the full time the cream lasts - which can vary a bit. The cream remains good in the charger for 14 days. Got mine on e-bay - an ISI Cream Whipper.
Have fun with it! I do not add any sweeteners to my cream at this point - just stick it in and shake a bit - charge it up and it comes out great!

Boy, does this thread ever take me back to the late sixties! At which time we hadn't any interest at all in whipped cream. I was convinced we were going to be arrested for all the nitrous oxide chargers we were buying.

I think I'll silently fold my tent and slip away, here.....

Yes it is different. It's all under the same ownership and you use your regular costco card, but the purpose of it is for like restaurants and whatnot, they sell stuff in much bigger bulk than the regular costco. I'm not sure if they are everywhere. We happen to have one about 10 miles away and the regular costco also.

Okay, I just ordered the size you told me on the internet link that I posted at the top of this thread. I will let you know how I like it.

By the way, the reason I am doing this is because the canned whip cream that they sell at the store has sugar in it as a main ingredient. It does not have sugar carbs, but it does have sugar.

I plan on using splenda or stevia with this. Does anybody know how much to use?

TC

I usually use some flavored Torani or Davinci syrup usually the vanilla and if you do you usually do not have to use splenda unless you like your whipped cream really sweet but you can taste the cream before you put it in the whipper. If you do use splenda be sure to mix the splenda before you put it into the whipper so the sweetener is disolved.
Hope this helps

Man, thats all I kept thinking the whole time I was reading this thread. "doing" Whipits and baloons of Nitrous !!!! And if you're good you can do it from the cans of real whipped cream too, but if you're not that good you get a mouthfull of whipped cream. Hehehe
