Default bought new clothes today!

I bought new clothes today. I bought a stretchy black, button up shirt, that actually looks good, gasp! A year ago I would only have dreamed.

Also bought a tight black sweater and another very tailored shirt. Nothing like new clothes as a reward.

Pants...yes, but have to wait till I'm under 148. Hopefully just 3 or 4 more weeks...3 or 4 weeks, 3 or 4 weeks...It's been an entire year since I bought pants! It's going to happen soon...

Woohoo, good for you Maggie!!
Isn't it a great feeling
I had to buy a belt for my jeans today - they were actually in danger of slipping down!
You'll be buying those pants in no time - in the meantime, how about a picture of you in your new gear?
The nicest thing is, we know we deserve new clothes, as we've earned them!
You take care, Jay

Thanks Jay!

I know this will sound totally daft...

We have a digital camera, but I don't understand how I can get a photo so small.

I'll ask my husband and see if he know's how to do it.

And yes, of course we DESERVE new clothes!!! We are women after all...

Take care

Maggie

Way to go Maggie!!!

You must feel so wonderful.

I had a hard time figuring out how to make pics smaller too. I finally found a photo program on our computer that scales the pictures down. I barely know how to use most of the functions on our digital camera.

I've bought some stuff at Seasons, it's nice quality. I usually go at the end of Season sales. I got some nice pants there last year they were 50% off. But Since I've lost the weight I got rid of them. I brought all my big clothes to Sequences on Steele Street. I made over $100, I also bought some stuff there but not everything is a bargain.
Would you beleive that 3 girls from work took the rest of the week off so that they could go shopping at the new Superstore!!

Gotta love shopping for new clothes..NOT.. I totally detest shopping..LOL my hubby figures he got himself a rare one..When we do go shopping he's the one that usually picks through the clothes.. He even wanders off to the womens section and starts picking things out.> I said "Look!!! no more clothes!!!" lol

Hi

I know what you mean, I don't usually like shopping either, unless it's an outdoor or sports shop. I do love HAVING new clothers though! My husband is like yours, always trying to get me to shop for things.

I particularly hate big box stores like Walmart and Superstore, or Cosco. But the prices are good, so I do force myself to go in there.

Maybe you need to get a copy of the Victoria's secret catelogue phone order yourself some sexy new stuff...wouldn't your husband love that! When I was thin I ordered from there all the time. They have really nice clothes.

Well, I'm jealous

I'm forbidden to sew here.

A few years ago I bought my girls dolls from the American Girl catelogue in the states. Very expensive dolls with very expensive wardrobes that you could buy separately.

So I bought patterns and thought I'd save some money by making them myself.

Apparently the swearing was so bad that the whole family had to vacate the premises.

Soooo....I'm not 'allowed' to sew anymore. I guess I just don't have the patience for it.

I envy anyone that can sew and be creative that way. My only creative instincts are for cooking, and only so that I can eat!
