Hi Karen aand all --

First time I've been on the Internet in several days, and I've one thing to say:
VANCOUVER IS THE RAINIEST CITY I'VE EVER BEEN IN! AGGHHH!!! WE'RE WASHING AWAY!

At this point I have no idea what we're up to -- we're having a fine time here, but so far all our plans have been rained away, so to speak. We're kind of pinned down at the Victorian Hotel in Gastown, and have not gotten to many of the places we've wanted to go, including Stanley Park. We still want to come, but will have to play our cards as they're laid!

Yep! You're here in the rainy season. It's like this all winter. Now, the whole summer was fabulous! The lack of rain was record breaking and now the rain is record breaking. Go figure!
You're in my neighborhood! If you want a cheap and cheerful LC meal, try Incendio on the corner of Columbia and Alexander. Have the roasted chicken with salad.

Karen, I have a question - I haven't been to one of your LC events at the Fish House ... will there be info available at the Tea as to approximate carb counts for each of the treats? Just wondering ...

I don't give out carb counts on the food. At the dinners we don't follow recipes, we just cook low-carb so there is no way to have a count. I want people to come and enjoy eating without fretting...

For the tea, the scones will be the carbiest things. They're 3.6 grams each. Everything else is pretty teeny so I would say for the other eight things, another 8 carbs.
