Default WOOOHOOO!!! Low-Carb MILK!!!!

I'm am sooooo happy!!! I went shopping at Walmart last night looking for the lc bread that they advertised and lo-and-behold....I found lc MILK!!!! It's a tad expensive ($2.50/half gallon) but it's another step toward normal eating for me!!! I have been finding so many great combinations of things to eat and it's just awesome!!!! AND: I finally convinced DH to try low-carbing and he's now down almost 15 pounds!!!

Default Oh....my.....god......!

I totally lost the name of it.....I think it's Carb Down...or Carb Under.....or something like that...? The word CARB is definately first and BOLD on the carton and it was right in between the creamers/half & half and the regular milks. I know it has 3 carbs per 1 cup......and I "think" it was about 12 grams of protien.......I really only concentrated on the carbs before I bought it! It is thicker like whole milk the taste is in between skim milk and soy milk....I thought is was just fine....and also that it would be great for the lc cereals! I haven't gotten any of them yet because I couldn't put milk on them.......now I can!!!

they only have it on the east coast right now... or at super walmarts... I don't have one by me.. so i will just wait...

I did make sugar free pudding... with 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1 1/2 cups of water... and it turned out... soo i will have to wait on the lowcarb milk...
Soy Milk seems to have alot of carbs... am I just not seeing the lowcarb soymilk??

Most soy milk is sweetened, you have to look hard for unsweetened. Westsoy is my favorite, they have Soyslender in chocolate, cappachino and vanilla as well as plain. I use it in shakes. It has 4-5 carbs in a cup.

It's actually not too bad....I think it tastes somewhere between skim milk and soy milk....I was very surprised that it doesn't taste fake or chalky.......No too bad at all!

I'd like them to market LC fruit juices -- have to stick to Crystal Lite for now, not nearly the same as a nice big glass of OJ.
