Default Lobster Bisque

I was just wondering if you are able to have Lobster Bisque at restaurants while on induction. On fitday it said Lobster bisque has 12g of carbs and one of the ingredients is flour. Has anyone else tried it?

I've eaten it out, making sure that I just count that in my 20 carbs - it's a treat for sure.

things like bisque or cream soups are best left to home-made, unless you know exactly what the ingredients are (like if you are buying at the store & can check out a label).

yep, flour is used in the base of a bisque. there is also generally TONS of sodium added. fitday is going by a kind of generic recipe - no telling what is actually in each different restaurant's recipe.

when eating out, it's best to keep simple - like a steak & salad, that kind of thing.
