Five and half pounds in two weeks is great. Why are you discouraged.

Just think by the end of four weeks it could be 10-12 pound loss. Thats a lot.

I was disapointed at first when I didn't lose as much as some other people that I started this WOE did. When I lost my first 10 pounds everyone else was at 15 or 20. It was depressing and I felt like "this won't work for me" But I was told that part of it is because I didn't have as much to lose as they did and that you lose inches instead of pounds sometimes, take a picture or record your measurements. One of those three things will show you a difference. Keep your chin up and don't make light of losing any amount of weight in a two week period, that is an accomplishment to be proud of!!

Hey ... that is awesome... 5 1/2lbs... is alot for 2 weeks...it took me over a month to see that kind of lose... I didn't have the typical results from induction ...like most people... and was following it to a T... I was loosing inches though... and then all of a sudden a month and a half into it... i finally lost the kind of weight you have lost in 2 weeks.... sooo you should be congratulating yourself... OR posting...
" Check this out guys,... I HAVE LOST 5 1/2 lbs.!!!"

Smile... it is happening... and it will stay off ... if you stick with it... Patience is key... I Learned the hard way too.

It's all about %....the person who weighs 300 is going to lose 15lbs in the first 2 weeks, generally - which is the same as your %.

You are right on schedule!! Good job - keep going.

Keep up the great work. It took me years to get to my highest weight, and I know that i won't be able to take it off as fast as i may want, but it WILL come off. That's all that counts. Best of luck!

Thumbs up

Congratulations!! I think you're doing swell!

In our house, we have four people on this WOE, and lucky me, am losing weight the fastest. But then again, I'm the fattest, too! LOL

My oldest daughter weighs 170 and for her height 5'4" and size, she has a pretty low fat % (as in if she loses 20 pounds she's going to be very slim and trim). She's been on the diet as long as I have, since the 10/1, and so far she hasn't lost one pound. I've been working with her today on getting her FitDay set up, which I think will help her a lot, and giving her a lot of encouragement. Of course I told her from the outset it might be a little slow going for her because she only has 20 or so pounds to lose. Even so, she's not too discouraged, which I'm really happy about.

Just keep it up because you're doing fantastic!
