stillmans, meat fast, egg fast?
3) has anyone experience a gain from atkins readymade breads?
4) low carb emplorium products? too good to be true?

1) No-I haven't tried made up fasts. The fat fast works well, but people have mixed results.
2) Overbinging is detrimental to your weightloss program. Stop that and you will start losing again.
Keep to the program-Induction specifically, avoid fancy foods, pre-packaged crap etc. Go for fresh-homemade meat and veggies. Get all the sweets and breads out of the house. Pack your lunch. NO bread-lc or otherwise until after induction and your cravings are under control. Take control of your behavior-weight loss is a choice.
5) la tortilla really are 3-4 net carbs!

It sounds like you need to "re-educate" your body to enjoy what is good for it. If Atkins induction helped you get over cravings before, perhaps it will again. Some folks have good luck with fasts, but there can be a tendancy to over indulge once the fast is over (e.g., I've eaten nothing but eggs for 3 days, surely one little _____ won't hurt). I'd opt for the more moderate approach if I were you. Try cutting out all the stuff that sounds too good to be true and eat real veggies, meats, and eggs for several days. And drink, drink, drink - water, that is. See what happens. Remember, slow and steady wins the race.

Good luck,
Cindy

thanks for the little butt kicking. i totally appreciate it. i am struggling with the fact that i have all this extra weight and just want to lose it asap. but this isn't a race- its a lifetime choice and i just have to choose to be good again. thanks. and it'd be great if people kept posting advice and stuff for me!

...but by your stats, you're already UNDER goal, unless something got missed...OWL and Maintanence wouldn't be trying to fast and starve, but rather nourish your body at the level of carbs that can help you reach your goal.

I'm a little confused. I see your stats, 145/100/105
and it appears that you are already under your goal. Perhaps your body is telling you something.

Sati,

I thought you decided not to do any of those silly fasts...just go back to eating normally and the weight will come off...but slowly. It's that whole deprivation thing we keep talking about.

sati,

think back of what worked for you in the past. did introducing all these man-made things into your daily menu hurt more than help in end? like lc tortilla, bread, ice cream, etc. i know it's been hurting me. why don't you go back to eating the natural stuff? veggies, low glycemic fruits, meats, fish...

i agree with cindy, i think trying out all these fasting methods will just hurt you more in the end.
