meat has got calcium in it. . .where do you think the cows get it for milk? Cheese, yougurt, BUT dark green leafy veggies are one of the best sources out there. . .your body can pick up the calcuim in those much easier. . .don't know why. And you should be taking supplements. (vitamins) redawn

Vinegar does have carbs in it, and the amount of carbs varies by type of vinegar. Balsamic vinegar, for example, tends to have many more carbs than straight white vinegar. Check Fitday's food bank under "vinegar" and you'll see that the carb count for one cup is around 15 grams of carbs. Vinegar is made from a sugar-containing material in a two-step process: fermentation and acidification. The word vinegar comes from the French "vinaigre" meaning "sour wine."

Also, as far as calcium supplements go, Calcium Citrate is much more readily absorbed than other forms of calcium, such as Calcium Carbonate. Also, if you take your calcium supplements with a meal, you will absorb more calcium than if you take them on an empty stomach.

hiya! ok, you have to make your fitday public. when you are logged in, click on the "home" tab on the left & scroll down. there is a button down there, "make my journal public".

once you do that, it will tell you what link to share.

Just double checked the vinegar stats and the average for all types of vinegar is about one gram of carbs per tablespoon. The exception is balsamic vinegar, with about two grams of carbs per tablespoon.
