Question CarbWise Bars

Does anyone have experience with these bars? They are delicious...perhaps too delicious so I'm a little suspicious.

yup, they are a little too good to be true! This is how i see them, if i eat one its not going to make me gain weight like a regular candy bar. However, if I eat one, Im also not going to be losing any weight that day. Everyone is defferent though, but thats just my motto.

I must need to have my taste buds checked as I can't find any of these bars appealing...and I can eat virtually anything! They taste downright awful to me...I wish I liked them as they would be OK for an occasional quick lunch.

Love the carbwise smores! Yum. Eat about 1/2 of one every other day, no stalls whatsoever.

I have to laugh... tastes must be VERY individual..I had a s'mores one and nearly vomited! I was DRIVING, no less... I had been out shopping all day with my son, and started feeling kind of shaky, so I grabbed one for the ride home. It stopped the shakes, but I had the worst, waxy, nasty film in my mouth!!! I couldn't get rid of it, and water made it worse... I found a coupon in a magazine I picked up, and almost gagged at the PICTURE of one!!

I happen to LOVE all these "protein" and "low carb" bars...

I love anything that tastes like cardboard for some reason... I wonder how many grams of Carbs cardboard has???

I eat them, they are thick and it makes you feel like your eating a "real" candy bar, well sort of. The raspberry and lemon flavors are G-R-O-S-S !!!

But the smores and pnut butter are okay.

I think the taste grows on you lol.

Do I eat them.........yes !
They also help you poop !

Does anybody know where I can find these CarbWise bars?

I really like the Carb Solutions/Atkins bars etc. and I'm thinking about bidding on some coupons on Ebay for Free Carbwise bars But I'm not sure if I'll be able to use them b/c I don't recall seeing them in my local grocery store....I live in East TN and I'm just wondering if anyone else out there knows if the bars are available in this area...I'm assuming that if Wal-Mart doesn't have them, I can go to GNC or Vitamin World at the mall and get them.

I know...it's a lazy post...but grocery shopping's not til next week and I don't want to make a trip before then to see if anyone has the bars!

Anybody know??

I got 40 FREE coupons on a trade online, and have used 16 so far, it's nice because dh is doing atkins now too.

The only flavor of the CarbWise I did not like was lemon. The one I like the most is peanutbutter. I basically divide a bar in 3 servings and eat a piece after lunch everyday for 3 days. I could never handle a whole bar at a time. They are just too sweet/heavy for me.

I tried my first one yesterday and ADORED it. (PB & Chocolate)... I got mine at a Duane Reade here in the city... I gotta say that a reason I think I like these bars so much is that they've taken the protein powders and whatever and made them into crispy nuggets. CRUNCH! I'm SUCH a texture person. This is definitely a nice change from "cheesy" "fleshy" and the watery crunch of veggies.

Filmlass,
I hear ya on the texture thing! I don't really enjoy most of the bars on the market (now the candy-type bars, like Endulge, are another story!) but these crunchy ones are tolerable. I've tried the raspberry and the smores, and both are OK. I keep a few around for emergencies, like when I'm traveling and have no control over the food I'm served. I'm actually glad that the bars don't appeal to me too much. Makes it easier to avoid something I shouldn't be having anyway!
