I think planning for Spring makes sense. That way people have time to arrange their work schedules, etc. This autumn would've been great (with the fall colors, crisp air - ahhhh! ), but it's too soon. Also, as Iowa said, there's the chance of freezing temps, poor travel conditions and possibly even snow in your tent - depending on where we all choose to go!

I can tell you that Colorado has some spectacular places to camp and - it being my backyard - I'd be happy to organize things if it is chosen. Take a peek at some of KOA's Colorado locations - most are quite nice...

I'm allergic to nature. I crave pavement, concrete, and noisy streets crowded with transients.

My idea of camping is staying in a hotel.

I love how most people on this thread are trying to get people to "meet" closer to where they live...

pretty cool....

Maybe we should do this...
Everyone start naming what state they live in, and after everyone has spoken, we can go to a center point, or something like that...

-=Or=-

Just come up with something everyone likes...

JMHO,
korry

OK, I am thinking Chicago or NYC. Chicago is more centrally located, I think. NYC just rocks.

Other suggestions:

Atlanta
St. Louis
Anyone else?

Hey are any of you singles out there interested in something over New Year's? Such as Caribbean/Hawaii/Mexico cruise or perhaps a trip to sunny Australia?

Hmmm Chicago or NYC would work. NYC I'd take the train...a cab from Grand Central is a LOT cheaper than a cap from JFK

To be perfectly honest, I'm not terribly picky, as long as there are more people than trees

I've never been to Chicago (love to go)...NYC is always great. I just sorta butted into your thread and invited myself on your get together...I hope that's okay.

Hi Daisy, you are more than welcome to butt it

If I wasn't such a blockhead I would have remembered my manners and welcomed you properly
