Unhappy Headache after drinks with splenda

I never had problems with eating food with splenda either putting it in drinks or cooking.

I recently tried Diet Rite and I couldn't finish half a glass because it was soooooo sweet. However, in 5-10 minutes after drinking Diet Rite(less than half a glass), I got a bad headache and felt nauseous really bad almost threw up for more than 2 hours. So I swore never to drink Diet Rite...

This morning I drank half can of Atkins shake cafe au lait(ack!! sooooo sweet) and I said to myself "hmmm not too bad". Well I spoke too soon.
I had a headache and nausea for an hour.

I am wondering, is this happened to anyone or just me?
I heard so much good things about Diet Rite or Atkins shake...However, I don't think I will ever try them again.

Yes, Diet Rite gives me headache's too for some reason, must be the other ingredient thats in it to make it sweet. I belive there's one other then Splenda added.

Its funny because way b/4 I went on atkins I was trying to limit my diet soda intake to only weekends and every Sunday, like clock work, bam, headache city.

I do drink some but I am very limited on how much I drink. I'll drink a diet dr. pepper b/4 Diet Rite.

This is the ingredient list for the diet rite cola:

INGREDIENTS: Carbonated Water, Caramel Color, Sucralose (Splenda Brand, A Non-Nutritive Sweetener), Gum Acacia, Natural Flavors, Citric Acid, Potassium Benzoate (Preservative), Acesulfame Potassium (Sunett Brand, A Non-Nutritive Sweetener), Phosphoric Acid, Potassium Citrate.

Note that it not only has Splenda, but Acesulfame Potassium. I read somewhere (can't remember now) that Splenda is know to give headaches in some people. Also, the way they make the Acesulfame Potassium (they heat it up) to make the sweetner, can cause headaches.
