I am new at this lo carb diet but love diet pop and because of the no aspartame I am at a real loss for a 0 carb pop treat. I live in BC Can. and would like to know if we can purchase Splenda sweetened pop in BC.

I dont live in BC, but rather in Ontario. The only splenda sweetened pop that I was able to find (and I should mention that finding it was a real pain in the butt) was diet orange crush and diet cream soda. So try your luck with that!

Is that pop a major brand or a store brand? The answer to that will shorten my search. I have spent so many hours in our grocery stores looking for different things in the last week.

Orange Crush is a major brand which I used to see in stores in Canada. But I don't think it has been around ONtario for a while. Diet Rite cola is also Splenda but hard to find. I heard that Costco might be carrying Diet Ice Botanicals which have Splenda but not my local one.

Dio, I have only been able to find Diet Sparkling Ice by Talking Rain. It's so hard to find anything sweetened with splenda. The Costco out here in Kelowna had the talking rain a few weeks ago but I don't know if you want to make the trip out...it's something that I found hard to find at first. It's great stuff if you like fruity pop though. $17.99 for a case of 24 bottles.

The Low-Carb center in Vancover carries Splenda sweetened drinks and then there's always taking a quick trip across the border to stock up if you're in Vancouver.

There are quite a few of us lo carbers up here but guess I will have to let them know about the great benefits of the forum. Thanks for the info we have Natures Fare here too and they are getting more products in all the time which is nice.

Natures Fare does carry quite a bit...I find their prices a little high but not so bad on some things. In Calgary they have a place called the Diabetic Depot and there's a rumour they might be coming out here. *crossing my fingers* This place carries a lot of Diabetic and low carb products.

Have either of you been able to find Davinci Syrups anywhere aroung the Okanagan? Timothy's Coffee shop in Orchard Park mall has SF syrups but they contain aspertame.

Well my journy has been long and trying at times with the natrual plateaus one has. But it is now my lifestyle and yes I cheat once in a while but get right back at it. I will eat this way for the rest of my life. Or I will balloon right back to where I don't want to be!!!!! If any of you need help or anything let me know .............. I have become a walking dictionay when it comes to atkins. lol
