Question Take Away Food???

Hi all!

I urgently need advice! I'm about to order an Indian take away for me and my BF but I don't know what I can have. I won't be having rice or nan bread, but does anyone know what sort of food I can eat without ruining things too much?? I know I'm obviously going to ruin it a bit, but it's going to be done anyway, and I'll suffer the consequences. I just need to know the best thing?

Anyone?

Hope you enjoyed your indian. Most curries are pretty low carb and you can always ask them if sugar is added to the sauce. I love korma's.

Last time I had Tandori chicken and saag paneer (spinach and cheese with spices and garlic, tastes way better than it sounds!). When I picked up the meal I had a chat with the girl behind the counter and we talked about low-carbing, the chef came out and told me that in future when I called just to say what I wanted and that I wanted it with no sugar, flour etc and he'd do it no problem, well worth talking to the people in the Take-Away about

Thanks everyone for the help! You're all 's

I ended up getting a Chicken Tikka Masala cos my BF wanted to order almost immediately after I'd wrote the message in here, cos he was so hungry, so I never got chance to check out your replies in time, but at least I know now for next time.

The take away where we order from is very bad at english. You always have to spend ages making your order cos they can never understand you, so I'm not sure talking to them about low-carbing would help!
But it's great that your indian lets you do that Kelly UK! I wish mine would!

I don't think I'll be doing that again for a while anyway. I've put on 4lbs cos of it so I've got to be soooooo good next week.

I said I would suffer the consiquence though, and here I am...suffering!

My BF's grandad had just died that night and he needed some serious TLC, which was why we got the Indian, cos he was really wanting to get one. You know, lots of food and drink to get over the shock.

So, thanks again for all your help. I promise to be a good girl for the next month!!!

Default Currys

Al alternative would be the excellent Indian range from Sainsbury's

I think the Madras is the least carb's ( 6g for the whole pack ) but My favs are the butter chicken ( 13g) and the Jalfrezi (12g)

As usual with every dinner they are accompanied by cheese and tomatoes !!!
