Default Truth in advertising

I just saw a commercial that turned my stomach. It was for the "new" Quaker Oats Breakfast Squares with a "whole bowl of Quaker Oatmeal in every square." Their motto was "it sticks with you." And they showed people walking around in Breakfast Square costumes. Talk about a naseaus image. But at least they are telling the truth.

For me they'd be "sticking" to my backside...

I'd change it to something like "A whole bowl of sugar and chamicals, to spike your insulin all day long, while turning your ass into a mass of cellulite the size of a Buick!"

Years ago, I recall an ad for a popular chocolate bar which boasted that there was ¼ glass of milk in each bar. I wasn't even low-carbing back then, but I remember thinking to myself "Yeah right ... eat 4 candy bars to get a glass of milk."
