I bought this bread mix (which you can use for either a bread machine or in the oven) at my local Vitamin Cottage at $4.19 per box (my half-loaf bread maker uses half the box to make about 6 or seven nice slices).
It's also available online at
http://www.netrition.com at $5.19 per box. Their prices are usually pretty good.
Looks like there are two different labels... Mine says Harvest Wheat Bread Mix for bread machines and conventional ovens, the ones I see on line say Harvest Wheat Bread Machine Mix. I think it's the same stuff.
Here's more online sites:
http://www.vitacost.com/Store/Produ...2&source=incept $4.60 per box

GNC sometimes carries this type of stuff.
I tried it out on my husband yesterday and he was surprised how good it tasted. It had a nice bakery smell and flavor--a little chewier than regular bread but I like my bread that way anyhow.
As a side note, I use the CarbSense regular baking mix to bread fish (I add a tbsp of garlic, pepper, salt and onion flakes to this LC flour and simply dip in catfish, tilapia, etc., then pan fry it in a couple of tbsps of grapeseed oil, and it is fabulous.
