Thick-n-Thin is just Xanthum gum. You maybe able to buy that instead of name brand and save some. Probably depends on how good the health stores are where you're at. Here they stink. I am going nuts wanting to go to Ft. Collins or Denver and see if they are any better.

I did buy the name brand online as one of my earlier LC purchases. I think I've used it once in the past 4 months, so it does stick around forever.
