Default Lunch disaster

oh today was the worst I had a lunch date, that I was looking so forward to, and a trip to the mall afterwards.

I'm actually about 2 lbs less then what my stats say..so I think I'm about 1/2 way to goal. Anyways..I took 2 chewable carb blockers just before lunch, and ordered the *fried* shrimp..came with F Fries & coleslaw..had an appetizer of mozzerlla sticks . I was so enjoying all this. PIGGED out..

When we got to the mall, I felt the need to pass gas..but wasn't sure..y'all know what I'm talking about? Well I hit the john..and spent most of the rest of the *shopping* checking for the nearest restroom.

The moral to this whole drawn out story is...don't cheat..and don't try to cover it w/carb blockers...it all comes out in the end

Cool Hello from Texas

Sorry to hear about your shopping trip. I have heard a lot of people who have went off the diet for a day have that problem even without the carb blockers. I thnk your sysyem just does not like all the crap no more. Some people take one day a month and eat what they want to kick start the diet and it is supose to work.
Next shoping trip be sure to take the pepto or something for your stomch lol.
Take care

Besides the effects on the system from the starches fermenting and the body trying to "fix" the problem... the chewable starch blockers have SUGAR in them...3 or more grams apiece for the ones I passed by to get the Natrol kind. (which, btw have the same bad-for-the-social-life effect)
