Cool Besides lbs, what have you lost?

In three months, I've said sayonara to:

Zits - my skin has cleared up beautifully

Weak nails - now they grow strong and long. My hair is also growing freakishly fast. Must be all the protein.

Heartburn at night - gone since day one.

The afternoon sleepies.

(I do find myself smoking an extra pack a day tho, which kind of sucks.)

  • I feel more focused mentally.
  • I am not tired during the day.
  • I'm in an overall better mood!
  • My skin looks healthier.
  • More stamina and energy.
  • Kicked the sugar habit!
  • Used to be freezing cold all the time, now my body core temperature is a nice cozy warm!
  • No more foot cramps!
I'm sure there will be more, but I've only been on Atkin's for 2 weeks!

About zits: I used to always have a clear face until I started Atkins and now I have a few. I'm also 21 and a VERY late bloomer so it might still be puberty (I've grown 2 inches in height while I've been 21, weird isn't it?)

But the thing I really love is I never get tired during the day. So much energy and I end up using all of it now!

As to hair, I wish my hair grew freakly fast as I'm trying to get dredlocks

I'll agree with the fingernails too!

I did lose a lot of my biceps and triceps and calfs but I can still bench and squat what I could before.

It's all good just got to see what happens in the long run!

Laterz,

- too-tight brassiere digging into my side
- back-fat rolls (always attractive!)
- the feeling of needing a "belly girdle", because of the way it just sorta hung there
- feeling of constant failure at not being able to "control" my weight gain
- shame and self-loathing because of my appearance

...and lots more - good riddance to all of it!

Dustin, you've LOST Confidence and Self respect??? I'm confused. LOL

I wish I could say I lost my moodiness and tiredness, and I guess I did for a while, but recently I had a set back involving my thyroid and soy milk, and now they are back, WAAAAAAAA!

I'm getting better though.

I have had the worst skin since being on Atkins. I usually had some right around that TOM but now I have had them constantly! Plus my skin feels drier than normal

But what I've lost??

-afternoon tiredness
-a couple inches
-excuses not to do things because of lack of energy
-cravings for sweets

I know there has to be more!
