Default You dropped how many sizes???

HI

Just wondering out there how many pants sizes low carbers have dropped and how long it took. I am a 36 year old female and I went from a 18 to a 14 and it's been about 5 months. I am getting a little discouraged because I have read posts were people went down 4-5 sizes in the same time. Would love to hear others accomplishments.

bye bye

Kat

I have been on plan since January went from 20-22 to 14-16. I am feeling good about that! Was a 16 in high school - with my frame don't imagine I will go much smaller - best part is the thighs in the pants all fit a bit loose.

I've dropped precisely one size. No matter what I do, my waist is still thick. Pants are baggy elsewhere, but my waistline refuses to take a hike. But hey, that's why LLBean etc. make elastic-waist pants for women my age.

I have went from a 18/20 depending on who made them to a 10/12 today. That is in 4 months as of today. I am hoping to get down into the single digits. I only remember being a size 14 in high school at the smallest. I have beaten that now and am working on a new goal. I have my belly to work on now. I am doing crunches that are helping with that now. I do about 100 crunches a day and have been doing about 4 flights of stairs at work 2 times a day. I wasnt really exercizing before but my belly just isn't going away enough for me to get my belly button pierced. That is going to happen soon though at this rate. Now I just have to be strict on myself with the carbs. I have been slipping but that is what has been helping me lose more. That is my goal get the belly button pierced and be able to show it off by next spring/summer. Good luck. If you ever want to talk, feel free to E-mail me at *************

I was an 18 in denial - so probably a 20. I was 18 in elastic waist pants. According to those size tables I wear a 4 now, but I haven't bought clothes in a long time. I buy mostly S-M-L stuff and just pick the S. My only pair of jeans is a 6 and it is really baggy at the legs, butt, and hips. I had the waist tightened already.

Kat...first of all, congratulations for sticking with the LC, healthy way of eating and living! Looks like you've lost 24 pounds! Now Kat is walking around without carrying 24 packages of butter around!

It can be discouraging when others lose at different paces. Remember metabolism, genetics and lifestyle all play a role.

You keep on keeping on! Going to a size 14 in short time if pretty remarkable, if you ask me!

I have gone from an 18/20 W to 12/14 tops and 16 regular in pants.

Lost 31 pounds as of Monday! Woo-hoo, I am so happy because of the support from everybody here!
Hugs, Annie-Pie

I went from a "relaxed fit" 24/26w to a 16/18. I started out about a year and a half ago, with a "regular" diet. Since I started Atkins, it's been easier.
