Unhappy Flavored Coffee

I bought some flavored coffee that i grinded up from the beans at the store today, and when I got home it occured to me, that this may not be so legal.....So i figured I would throw it out and ask if anyone knew if flavored coffee ground from beans has added sugar/carbs....

If it is just beans it can't have much. Coffee has a few carbs anyway. Why worry - this is a low carb diet not a no carb diet.

I think there is a very slight bit of sugar in most flavored coffees, but as long as you don't drink gallons of it, you should be all right.

I asked the owner of a coffee producing mill that very same question, and he swore up and down there was no sugar in his flavored coffees.

I posted this on some other earlier threads about flavored coffees. I called Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (a big supplier round here) and they told me the only flavored coffee that has any sugars are the ones that have chocolate anywhere in the name. All the others are sugar free. I drink the hazlenut twice a day for 16 months so far with no issues. But as we all know, everyone's different.

I went to a gourmet store recently and inquired about some orange chocolate beans (sounds yummy eh?), were they dusted in unsweetened cocoa powder or what? No one could give me a definitive answer, so I didn't buy them. If you're not sure, don't risk it!

LOL!! Well last week I bought hazelnut, and this week I wanted to try the chocolate nut!! So.....hmm.....I'm gonna have a cup today, and then maybe hold off! Tom'w is the official one week weigh in, and I had only 2 cups of hazelnut during the last week.....I got a little anxious and went on the scale today and i only lost about 3-4lbs =/ I was figuring I would lose more on induction so I'm kinda upset..... Well, I hope this next week will be better!
