Default Weight Loss Hot Flashes

It's happened again. I started feeling my face flush and burn at work earlier this week -- I weighed myself and WHOOSH, 2 lbs. gone! This, after two weeks of a stuck scale.

I remember mammoth posting about this phenomenon months ago. I thought it was just a hormone thing w/ me, but I really think now that there's something to this. Has anyone else had these "hot flashes" prior to a scale movement?

Hard to say--because I'm spending my ENTIRE LIFE as one huge hot flash just now! There aren't just power surges--they are nuclear bombs in cascading, never ending series.

Seriously, though, the intensity of the hot flashes definitely worsened once I began this WOE. I doubt that I'm in ketosis, because I'm on maintenance, but there is undoubtedly a relationship. And I wouldn't be surprised at all if they intensified right before a whoosh.

I'm finding I'm having hot flashes too but I never thought to associate them with a drop in the scale. I thought it was the crazy ca weather.BTW I'm not old to be having the other kind of hot flashes

I get those fat burning flashes too and always see a loss within 48 hours when they are the most intense.

Oh yea, love these kind of "hot flashes".....got to bump my weight down 1/2 lb today. Really been kinda hangin lately, so I was very excited about this tiny little 1/2 pound. Surely feels like something is happening now! Never thought I'd welcome a hot flash....LOL

I don't notice them during the day but I have noticed that I'm warmer at night while I'm asleep. I've had to crank the AC up to cool my apartment down much more than usual. I often wake up in the middle of the night feeling really hot.

Yep, my clues that a whoosh is in progress are a) hot flashes b) having to pee in the middle of the night and c) oddly enough, huge flakes coming off my scalp near my hairline on my forehead. This one must be like Nat'sw chapped lips, LOL.

Cheers,

Friday
