Default oooohh....serves me right

I am so blown up today, I feel like a balloon. The scale reads a pound higher and I can't stay out of the bathroom. Bring on the Immodium and a gas mask for my hubbin.

Why?

I ate one (really fabulous) lousy piece of New York Style Cheesecake at Outback yesterday when they threw a free lunch for the new football team at my University.

Who'da thunk that something so sweet would feel so sour?

That'll learn me.

One great thing about this WOE is that cream cheese is allowed. There are tons of low-carb cheesecake recipes out there. What may help is to make up one and then freeze it. It can be easier to resist temptations when you know you have a piece sitting in the freezer at home just waiting for you.

Also makign your own LC cheesecake you can use real cream cheese and the best quality ingredients. That means the cheesecake comes out better then the resteraunts. I had 1/2 a piece of peanutbutter cheesecake, and all I could think was "I can do this much better on my own"

Hang on for the ride. If you are like me you will now be fighting off cravings like a drug addict for 3 days. If I eat something like that I'm going through withdrawal like a crazy person for 2-3 days BUT just know if it strikes up the craving cycle in you there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You know Dr. Atkins says if you go back to strict low carbing your blood sugar will level out within 2 or 3 days and the cravings will cease. As long as their is an end in sight you can take the cravings for a period of time. Just don't go back down that road again if you can help it!

I did just that. I went back to being very strict on my intake. Worked like a charm. No cravings, back down that nasty pound, feeling much better. Back to work!!
