Talking Ever wonder what to do with all those Forbidden Foods?

Hey Y'all!

I came up with ways to use up all that sugar, honey, cornstarch etc. this weekend - Natural body products!!

There's a great website filled with recipes for conditioners, body scrubs etc. using all that stuff that can't go in your mouth any more:

http://pages.ivillage.com/crystalst...ipes/index.html

I wound up putting olive oil and honey in my hair, made a scrub from sugar, oil and milk, a body powder out of cornstach and cinnamon and had a bath in milk and coconut milk. Ahhh......

Now, I smell great, have nice soft skin and less sugar etc. in my house. Yay!

Try it out and see what you think!

Darn it. That is a great idea. Too bad I threw everything away that I couldn't eat.

I found some excellent ideas what to do with WHITE BREAD. Make Play-dough for your kids!!! No kidding, white bread with glue and stuff makes a great, pliable modelling dough for kids ... or creative grown-ups. http://familyfun.go.com/crafts/buil...amf88clay3.html

Enjoy!

I am doing the same thing. Actually I have started a business making all natural products to sell. It IS a great way of seeing sugar & honey etc. in a whole new way! Kinda turns me off a bit from eating it.

So, what do you think I can make out of a half-dozen cans of pork & beans and a couple of Kraft Dinners?

I still have all my high carb stuff...even stove top box dressing mix..cake mix etc.

When we have company i have plenty to fix for everyone..I just stay away from it. I've never had a problem with lack of will power in that area.

Also..hubby isn't lowcarbing, so I fix high carb stuff for him *sometimes*
