Default The scale is my friend today!

After two weeks of only a 1/2 pound loss, I finally saw a 2 lb. drop!! I noticed that I was slacking off on my water consumption. I came down with a nasty cold this week and really pushed alot of water. That 2 lb. drop was after just 2 days of getting back to my 160+ oz. of water. This was a reminder that I really do need all that water!!!

Default drinking only water

BluiizCA - I am very pleased for you!

One question, how can you drink 160ozs of water daily?

I ask because I drink 100ozs and currently drink NOTHING else but water. I just wonder how and when can you consume almost 5 litres a day?

Thank you for any suggestions you can provide for water increases.

regards,

I drink 8 (20 oz.) bottles of water at a minimum. I keep refilling the bottle (at the office water bottle) at work and it sits next to my hands (I work on a computer all day). It's become a habit to grab the water bottle whenever my hands stop at the keyboard.

Bluiiz, that sounds like a great scheme to drink your water, but don't you spend all day going to the bathroom? Do people find that your body gets "used to" all the water, or is this the price I will always pay to flush out those toxins?

I personally believe that our bodies adapt to the water we drink, especially when we drink pretty much the same amount day after day. It sure does help in feeling good and losing weight, eh folks?

I agree! I believe our bodies do adjust if we're drinking the same amount every day. I know that if I don't drink as much as I'm used to, I feel incredibly thirsty all the time.
