I have only heard "positive" reports about Winsor Pilates tapes. I just bought "Pilates for Dummies" and heard that's a good tape for beginners and is only $9.00. Haven't received it yet so I'll have to let you know.
I think ANY exercise is good.

I'm enjoying "Walk Away The Pounds" with Leslie Sansone, but need to find some good tapes for toning/strengthening and I believe Pilates would do that for me. Good Luck!

Hi there.

I love pilates and am interested in getting a tape or two for those times when I just can't make it to the gym.

Please keep me posted on your tape reviews!

I just got Winsor Pilates a couple weeks ago and I really like it. I've taken some pilates at the gym but this is a good, easy way to do it at home. I think the instruction on positioning is good and they always have a 'modifier' who is doing the exercises for people who have less flexibility or weak backs, things like that. The exercises are easy to do and you can really feel them afterwards. I'd recommend them, but really I'd say just do anything that you can stick to. Exercise works best with consistency.

Ah, with such a novel and revolutionary concept, how would the diet industry ever sell another plan, book, or expensive inspirational "Tony Robbins" like sessions?

If I were a diet industry CEO, I'd declare you pulbic enemy number #1!

Regards,

Frederick

Well, that's the truth!

I honestly believe they could take every "Diet" book off the shelves at the library and put up a sign that says....

"Eat Less, Move More" and we'd be a healthier society. JMO

I got the 7 set Windsor Pilates last week and started Sunday and I love them! They make you work in their own way, however, I feel like it's not enough of a workout so I add some other dvd's like Kathy Smith, buns and thighs and upper body and do cardio either on the treadmill or stair climber. I also ordered The firm:5 day abs. I've heard so much about the Firm also, I hope it works. I'm desperate I'll try anything that will help sculpt and loose at the same time. Windsor Pilates didn't let me down, I'll just combine it with everything else! It's got to help me not harm me......Good luck to all!

Just saw this thread when I put a search in for "thighs" my biggest problem!

I too have just started the Winsor Palates 20 minute workout and though I can't get my legs as straight as them ...I feel if I stick to doing this 3-4 times a week I may start seeing inches off my thighs..

Anyone see any results with Palates tape???

Thank you
