Default Looking for Beverage Recipes(cappacino's)

I am looking for beverage recipes and notice there is not a topic for beverages in the recipe room. I'm mostly interested in drinks that would be like cappacinos.
Thanks
Sandra

I got this idea from someone on the Board here... it's not a cappucino necessarily, but a good coffee drink...

Decaf Coffee, cold- Put it in the blender with heavy cream, some SF DaVinci syrup and ice... blend and enjoy.

I also drink decaf coffee with SF Hazelnut syrup and whole cream.... it almost tastes like a latte...

It *almost* tastes like a latte, but not quite. It does the trick for me though!

Hey, I've ordered a cafe breve - which is a latte made with cream vs. milk. I was under the impression these were ok. They sure taste ok!!!!!

Myth - Cream has less carbs than milk

Fact - Milk, at 14 grams of carbs per cup, as almost zero carbs per TBLS, a cup of cream has almost 7 grams per cup, but cream is more filling, hence you can use a 1/3 cup cream and 2/3 cup water to replace your cup of "milk" in protein shakes and such. You end up using less in your coffee/tea as well.

BUT, a Cafe Breve, usually made with half and half (at Starbucks), has anywhere from seven to eleven carbs depending on the size you get. Not very carb friendly...

One of the few things I've missed since embarking on the WOE is my daily cappuccino. I think I'll try the "almost" latte and see how it is.

I go to starbucks almost every day and I get a decaf vente Latte w/cream and sugar free vanilla syrup from Torani iced so it has less cream. It has a total of 4 grams.

We call it the Atkins Latte at the starbucks I go to. Lots of people are obviously on Atkins also so they recommend it to people.
