Default late night snacks

I work nights, and come home hungry about 12am or 1am, what can I possibly eat that won't sabatoge my whole day of being good.

Diets are never designed for late night schedules.

Hi Sami,
That is not a problem. Get something like a deviled egg, a hardboild egg, a slice a meet, a couple of spoons of cream cheese on pork rinds.. etc etc..

Try cooking extra portions of meals so you have some leftovers to munch on... chicken wings or thighs, ground beef, etc.

Veggies and dip are pretty good too.

When I cook up meat for the day, I usually do it all at once. It saves time later and makes eating faster! Keep something in tupperware handy for later on when you get home from work. You're still eating the same, it's just a different time. Don't let the sun throw your diet off... lol.

Good luck!

I LOVE fried cheese as a snack. Yes, that's right - fried cheese. I just stick in in a pan and cook it!

Sometimes when I am feeling adventurous, I add some fried onion and other "pizza" toppins on top.

If you cut the cheese into triangles and fry them, they make really cool "cheese chips" for dipping, too. I often make extra cheese chips and have them on hand.

(Just be careful not to go over your 3-4 oz a day!)

Cheers,
Wabi

I love to just roll up some cheese (cheddar, cream, or swiss) in some deli meat - yummy and fast!
