Default not Atkins, that's for sure

On the surface, a puff piece of journalism. But going one layer deeper:

At ten times the carbs for induction (they said he was only on his first week of Atkins, right?) in one meal alone, as well as violating Atkins' "eat till you're full, NOT STUFFED" this guy and newspaper article aren't putting Atkins in a good light at all, though they at least admit at the end that it veers from Atkins insofar as expecting to make dietary progress. Seems more like someone not taking their much-needed diet seriously, esp. w/his stated idea of even further busting his own ill-conceived record. Yet another Atkins cheat'n goof screwing up their crucial induction... brilliant.
Let's hope such unhealthy behavior (vomitorium, anyone?) doesn't derail his prelim appraisal of how much this diet could help him, if he'd but only give it a chance and follow it - the induction phase is supposed to be the most no-nonsense phase of all!
