Default Day 3 A Little Shaky...

Got up this morning and weighed myself and it appears that I've lost 5 pounds, most probably of water....but I don't care...it's so darn great to see the scale going down for a change!!

---------------
Day Two Intake:

Fat: 65%
Carbs: 5%
Protein:30%
---------------

My Fitday stats are getting closer to the 70% fat, 5% carbs and 25% protein that was suggested to me here yesterday. My calories intake isn't high, but I feel like I'm eating tons!

I woke up feeling VERY anxious and weird this morning, plus I still have this awful migraine. I feel less shaky now that I've had some food, though. I guess it's just my blood sugars getting normalized (for the first time, most likely, and that WOULD feel weird!). My first test on the lypostick showed I was in moderate to large ketosis! All systems go, I'd say!

It sure helps coming here and reading stuff and being able to write about what's going on with me. The information and support I get is really helpful to me. Thanks a lot!

Wishing you all a great day.

Maddy - Day 3 and feelin' free!!

Your Fitday stats look great to me. I don't think I ever did 70% fat. 65% worked just fine for me.

Induction is full of weird new feelings. Most of the bad ones will pass in a couple days. Keep up the good eatin!

p.s. Are you taking good vitamins? I find that good supplements really help the intial gross feeling of induction.

Yes, I'm doing the whole program 100% like the book says. I'm on Basic #3 nutrients and the Atkin's Essential Oils.

I really binged on sugar and carbs the whole week, and especially the last day, before I started Atkins. I only have myself to blame for feeling so lousy...

Thanks for the response.

Heh, that last carb blowout will probably make your first few days a little worse. It's cool though... you'll get over it.

Hope you feel better soon!

Everytime I go on induction I get the worse headache for up to five days. I guess my body was in shock for not having that morning bagel and cappicino.lol

Keep up the good work it gets better!!!

It helps to hear that I'm not the only headache sufferer. Boy, does it hurt. Been 3 days now. I hope it doesn't last 5 - gosh, I'd go insane!

I'll hope for the best.

Thanks, all.
