Default Aloe Vera GEL

Hi All:

I have had stomach problems etc...and have been told that Aloe Vera Gel or Oil would be a wonderful thing to take (Ingest).... I am told it coats the "insides" and aid's in healing of ulcers, constipation...and too many things to list!

Does anyone have any "experience" with the Gel? This is sold by the quart bottle etc...not cap's or pills.

ALSO: Does this stuff contain and CARBS to be concerned about?
Thanks and best wishes;
Jake

My friend Sherry tried it once... it tasted nasty, and according to her experience didn't "coat" her insides, rather gave her the "runs" so bad, they nearly became OUTSIDES.

Sounds like an effective method if your stomach problems are constipation!

I used it many years ago, but the form I injested was a liquid. All aloe vera products are not equal. Find one that is not heat processed. Heat destroys the healing properties.

I liked it and felt better taking it, but the brand I purchased (Sasco) was not sold in stores, but by reps, and I lost my contact. It was expensive, but I believe you get what you pay for. I've bought the cheaper products in the drug store and they were a waste of money.

I just did a search and found Sasco on the internet. Here's the link if you're interested. I'm going back to check it out.

I tried the aloe vera juice. It did taste kind of nasty, but it said to mix with juice or something else. It is apperently a very good laxative. If you try it start off with a small amount and maybe only save it for times you are less then regular. It has no carbs in it though, and is suposed to help with ulcers and teh healthy bacteria.

Aloe is a wonderful healing plat. It is also a laxative.

it is best to use the raw plant but if you cant get it, find a product with little processing and few additives.

It should be used in moderation. When I make it raw I use 1 teaspoon per day.

This clears up colds, speeds up healing and generally helps the body to detoxify.

Thanks All!
I am looking at the GEL on vitaglo.com
supposed to be organic and not expensive really...concentrate gel 4 oz is around $4.00 I think...you can mix with liquid to make 125 gallons...WHEW!!!!!! Or, you can just take a tsp as needed. For the price, guess I will try it. Would NOT bother me to end up in the bathroom...I LOVE it in there anyway!
I'm just SILLY like that! LOL!
Thanks again:
Happy Jake

I'm sitting here contemplating the large aloe plants on my windowsill... I love them for burns, cuts, etc... but just can't get the idea in my head to gut one and INGEST the goo..... if the "processed" stuff did such a numer (TWO, even) on poor Sherry.......
